A method of laser engraving articles made of transparent materials comprises coating the workpiece surface with a material absorbing laser light, and engraving is performed for a few passages, and before its starting and before each successive passage the workpiece or area of its surface is sequentially placed in an electrostatic field and a chamber with microparticles of absorbing material suspended in a gas stream, and after processing – in the electrostatic field of opposite sign. |
