Provided are a container air evacuation structure that can significantly shorten the time until the inside of a container becomes airless, and a water server using same. The water server (1) is provided with a container air evacuation structure configured so as to supply drinking water in succession from a bag (4) containing said drinking water to a cold water tank (5) disposed below the bag (4) and to a warm water tank (6) disposed below the cold water tank (5). The air evacuation structure is provided with: a communicating tube (102) that connects the area near the top inside the cold water tank (5) with the inside of the warm water tank (6); and an outlet tube (63) for discharging air or drinking water, which has been discharged from the cold water tank (5) into the warm water tank (6) through the communicating tube (102) when drinking water is supplied from the bag (4) to the cold water tank (5), from near the top of the warm water tank (6).
