<p>There is provided a locking device for attachment to a door. The locking device comprises a bracket defining a u-shaped channel configured to be slid onto the edge of a door and a locking element. The bracket and locking element are inter-engageable so as to permit the bracket to releasably engage the locking element on either side of the u- shaped channel. The locking element comprises a protruding member configured so that, in use, the protruding member obstructs opening of the door. The bracket and the locking element are configured to permit the locking member to be secured to the bracket on either side of the u-shaped channel.</p> |
