The present invention relates to a heat pump system, and more specifically, to hot water generation of an air heat source type heat pump system, and a defrosting and cooling structure of an outdoor heat exchanger, for increasing the efficiency of use of a costless heat source, enhancing the coefficient of performance to a satisfactory level, and generating hot water at all times. The present invention comprises: a basic freeze cycle (10) having a compressor (11), a 4-way valve (12), an indoor heat exchanger (13), an expansion valve for cooling (14), an expansion valve for heating (15), an outdoor heat exchanger (16), and the 4-way valve (12), connected with a refrigerant conduit (17) in the respective order, and having the 4-way valve (12) and the compressor connected with a refrigerant suction conduit (18); a hot water heating circuit (20) placed between the compressor (11) and the 4-way valve (12) of the refrigerant conduit (17); a defrosting and cooling means (30) for mounting an auxiliary heat exchanger (32) on the outdoor heat exchanger (16), and mounting a heat exchanger (31) on a costless heat source storage tank (33), so that the auxiliary heat exchanger (32) and the heat exchanger (31) are connected to a heat medium supply pipe (34a) having a circulation pump (35) built thereon and a heat medium return pipe (34b), so as to form a closed circuit; and performance enhancing means placed at the heat medium supply pipe (34a) and between the outdoor heat exchanger (16) and the 4-way valve (12) of the refrigerant conduit (17). |
