<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate for manufacturing a compound semiconductor solar cell of excellent characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In a laminate for manufacturing a compound semiconductor solar cell, a first etching stop layer, and a semiconductor laminate containing at least one pn junction are disposed in this order on a semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor laminate contains a contact layer at a position contacting the first etching stop layer.
