<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of configuring main substrates not superposed with an extension slot unit. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a display panel 41 and main substrates 83, 85 connected to a terminal block 65 capable of wired communication with an external device and disposed on the rear face side of the display panel. The display device further includes an extension slot unit 30 including an extension slot 31 to which an extension board 91 can be inserted, a case 33 capable of guiding and accommodating the extension board, and an extension slot substrate 37 connected to the extension slot.
