<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more enhance performance for cleaning residual toner on an intermediate transfer belt than that of conventional ones and to increase productivity of image formation by an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: When conveyance delay of a recording sheet is detected by a registration sensor 63 and a delay determining section 104 (YES in S4), a job setting section 103 sets a subsequent image formation job that specifies a specific sheet feeding mechanism stored in a sheet feeding mechanism storage section 101 out of image formation jobs in execution standby states to an image formation job to be executed subsequent to an image formation job being executed (S5 and S6). A cleaning controller 105 increases the amount of residual toner transfer to a secondary transfer roller 210 and reduces cleaning time of a cleaning section 22 by a time period corresponding to an increment of the amount of residual toner transfer (S8 and S9). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
