<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method which facilitates calibration of a camera fixed on a television apparatus and an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The calibration method for correcting a camera image of an image display device equipped with a camera and a first display includes an installation process, a first display process, a reflection process, an imaging process, a calculation process, and a correction process. In the installation process, the first display and a second display are installed so as to face each other. In the first display process, the first display is made to display a specific display image. In the reflection process, the display image on the first display is made to be reflected on the surface of the second display. In the imaging process, the display image reflected on the second display is picked up by the camera. In the calculation process, a relative positional relation between the camera and the first display is calculated from a positional deviation of the display image in the camera image.
