This illumination module (10) comprises a light source (1) and a lens module (100). The lens module (100) is provided with a rotor (4), a stator (2), a lens unit (3), turning mechanisms (2f, 4i), a conversion mechanism (8), and restraining mechanisms (5b, 7). The turning mechanisms (2f, 4i) connect the rotor to the stator in such a manner that the rotor can turn relative to the stator. The turning mechanisms (2f, 4i) release the connection between the rotor and the stator when the rotor is positioned in an attachment position such that the rotational angle of the rotor reaches a predetermined angle. According to the rotation of the rotor, the conversion mechanism (8) moves the lens unit relative to the stator along the rotational axis of the rotor. The restraining mechanisms (5b, 7) include an interlocking part (7) provided to the rotor and a restraining part (5b) provided to the lens unit. The restraining part (5b) comes in contact with the interlocking part (7) and thereby prevents the rotor from rotating to the attachment position. |
