<p>A centerless grinder (1) is provided with: a bed (10); drive units (20, 30) provided on the bed (10); a regulating wheel (40) mounted to a rotary shaft (22) extended from the first drive unit (20); a grinding wheel (50) mounted to a rotary shaft (32) extended from the second drive unit (30) with the outer peripheral surface thereof disposed to face the outer peripheral surface of the regulating wheel (32); a blade (60) disposed between the regulating wheel (40) and the grinding wheel (50); and a cover (70) in which the regulating wheel (40) and the grinding wheel (50) are housed, and grinds a workpiece (W) using the grinding wheel (50) while rotationally supporting the workpiece (W) between the regulating wheel (40) and the blade (60). The regulating wheel (40) and the grinding wheel (50), and the bed (10) and the drive units (20, 30) are separated by the cover (1). In this configuration, scattering of coolant can be reliably prevented by the small-sized cover (70).</p> |
