<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently produce polymer fine particles with a narrow particle size distribution. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a polymer fine particle production method which comprises forming an emulsion in a system in which, when dissolving and mixing a polymer A, a polymer B and an organic solvent, phase separation into two phases of a solution phase composed mainly of the polymer A and a solution phase composed mainly of the polymer B is caused, and then contacting the emulsion with a poor solvent of the polymer A to precipitate the polymer A. By using the method, polymer fine particles with a narrow particle size distribution can be conveniently synthesized, and the method can be effectively applied to highly heat-resistant polymers and the like, conventionally difficult to produce. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
