PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce work burdens of inputting diagnostic aid information.

SOLUTION: An internal storage part 17 stores the diagnostic aid information and a display position of the diagnostic aid information in a display area where ultrasonic images are displayed in association, for each of a plurality of inspection items. An image generation part 14 generates the ultrasonic images related to the inspection item of a scanning object on the basis of echo signals from an ultrasonic probe 1. A monitor 2 has the display area. A display control part 16a controls the monitor 2 so as to display specific diagnostic aid information associated with the inspection item of the scanning object among the diagnostic aid information stored in the internal storage part 17 at a specific display position associated with the specific diagnostic aid information.
