<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a satisfactory connection state between a gas manifold and a casing. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel battery device generates electricity by a fuel gas and an oxidant gas, and has a plurality of fuel battery cells electrically connected to each other. The fuel battery device includes a fuel battery cell assembly 12 that the fuel gas and the oxidant gas react with each other to generate electricity in the fuel battery cells; and a fuel gas tank 68 that is disposed below the fuel battery cell assembly 12, and supplies distributingly the fuel gas to the fuel battery cells.
