PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a channel occupancy ratio of a wireless LAN terminal that is a wireless LAN station or wireless LAN access point, and to estimate a throughput with a high accuracy considering operation of a CSMA/CA.

SOLUTION: A wireless LAN (Local Area Network) sensor for measuring a channel occupancy ratio of a wireless LAN terminal that is a wireless LAN station or wireless LAN access point comprises: a wireless LAN module 102 for receiving a packet from the wireless LAN terminal; an occupancy ratio calculation part 103 for calculating a time occupancy ratio of a channel for each wireless LAN terminal, on the basis of header information of the received packet; and a maximum throughput estimation part 105 for estimating a maximum throughput for each wireless LAN terminal, on the basis of the calculated time occupancy ratio.
