<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spare tire carrier for improving safety in mounting or removing a spare tire on/from the spare tire carrier. <P>SOLUTION: This spare tire carrier 1 includes a support frame 2 and a mounting table 3. An upper part of the support frame 2 has a wheel disc receiving surface 4 for receiving a wheel disc of a spare tire 20, and a wheel disc fixing part 8 for use in fixing the wheel disc. Recesses 5 are formed below for preventing interference of a rubber portion of the spare tire 20.
