<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a lap pretensioner that allows a gas generated by a gas generating means to be discharged outside after reducing specific components contained in the same. <P>SOLUTION: A filter 110 is mounted at one end of a cylinder 14 constituting a pretensioner body 12 of a lap pretensioner 10. A tubular case 112 constituting the filter 110 is configured to internally store a sorbent 120 formed by powdering or granulating a substance, which adsorbs specific molecules and atoms or the like constituting a vapor such as zeolite or activated charcoal. When gas passes through the tubular case 112 of the filter 110 from the other end side of the cylinder 14, specific components constituting the gas are adsorbed by the sorbent 120.
