<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for making a label and a method for making a label which enable making a label provided with an application sheet, through a series of processes without label pattern cutting. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes processes of transferring a label substrate 55' developed in the form of a label image to the adhesive-coated side of release paper 53 supplied from a release paper supply part and applied with a UV-curable adhesive 54, fixing the transferred label substrate to the adhesive-applied surface of the release paper by heating and pressurization, transferring a label image 57' onto the fixed label substrate with an ordinary toner, fixing the transferred label image again onto the label substrate, irradiating, with UV rays, adhesive areas in which there is no label substrate transferred and fixed with the label image, to harden the adhesive areas and thus fix to the release paper, and covering the whole surface of the release paper, from the above, with an application sheet 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
