<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera to be easily carried for image taking with toxic gas detection function. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary light emission part 11 for emitting laser light of a waver length which is absorbed by methane gas toward an imaging target, a light modulation drive part 12 for modulating the laser light, and an auxiliary light reception part 13 for receiving reflected light from the target are mounted in a camera S for image taking. The camera includes a light demodulation/gas detection part 14 measures a concentration of methane gas from absorption of the methane gas by demodulating a reception signal from the auxiliary reception part 13, an alarm part 15 for generating an alarm when the concentration exceeds a predetermined concentration, and a MPU 3 for controlling to display an alarm on an LCD 7 when an alarm is reported. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
