<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing, at a low cost and simply, metal oxide fine particles having a narrow particle diameter distribution and having little necking and little consolidation of the fine particles. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a step of generating an intermediate which includes oxo-metallic acid ammonium having a structure of tungsten bronze and a water-soluble organic compound or thermal decomposed product of this compound, obtained by drying an aqueous complex solution including: a water-soluble metal compound containing one or more metals selected from 4, 5, and 6 groups in the periodic table; ammonia or ammonium ions; and a water-soluble 2-10C organic compound having two or more functional groups selected from hydroxy group and carboxy group capable of coordinating to metals, and heating the resulting solid; and a step of heat-decomposing the intermediate to generate metal oxide fine particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
