PURPOSE: A locking device for a waterworks meter container cover is provided to facilitate to detach a cover for opening by using a locking unit as a handle and to prevent the separation and loss of the cover. CONSTITUTION: A locking device(100) for a waterworks meter container cover comprises a fixedly support unit(30) and the fixing groove of a body. The fixedly support unit is rotatably installed on the top of a cover(20) and comprises a rotary shaft, a hinge unit, a connection unit, a fixing unit, and a pressing unit. The fixing groove is formed in the bottom of the reinforcing unit of a body(10) in order to fixedly insert the pressing unit. The pressing unit is settled into the fixing groove for binding the cover to the body. The cover is detached from the body by separating the pressing unit from the fixing groove and upwardly rotating the fixedly support unit. The top surface of the cover is formed with a settling groove for settling the rotary shaft and hinge unit. |
