<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage information on an insurance card and a medical certificate needed to determine a medical expense burden ratio of a patient. <P>SOLUTION: A health insurance information management system comprises a reception terminal for acquiring insurance card information from an insurance card received from a patient and acquiring medical certificate information from a medical certificate when the patient has the medical certificate, an electronic medical chart database for managing medical examination information of the patient, a health insurance information database for managing the insurance card information and the medical certificate information, and an information management terminal for managing the health insurance information database on the basis of the insurance card information and the medical certificate information acquired by the reception terminal and maintaining consistency of the electronic medical chart database and the health insurance information database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
