<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical piece playback system and device and a musical piece playback method, which can heighten an entertaining effect by estimating user's preference for musical instruments to select one or more pieces of performance data from a plurality of pieces of performance data relating to musical instrument performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the musical piece playback system, a central device 1 reads out musical instrument identification and frequency information associated with user identification information received from a karaoke terminal device 4, from a part information DB 13c, selects musical identification information from the read musical instrument identification information on the basis of the frequency information, selects performance data associated with the selected musical instrument identification information and the received musical piece identification information from a musical piece performance DB 13e and transmits the selected performance data of the musical instrument identification information to the karaoke terminal device 4.
