THERMOELECTRIC COGENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably convert solar energy into electric energy and to efficiently utilize solar energy according to the load on an electric power consumption unit.

SOLUTION: A thermoelectric cogeneration system includes: a condensing unit; a heat collection unit; a reactor which reacts to generate heat as a reaction medium is produced through heat absorption reaction and supplied; an electric power generation device which receives the heat generated by the reactor and generates electric power; a reaction medium supply/discharge device which discharges the reaction medium from the reactor, and supplies the discharged reaction medium to the reactor; electric power demand prediction processing means of predicting the amount of solar radiation and a power demand; generatable electric power amount calculation processing means of calculating a generatable amount of electric power; necessary electric power amount calculation processing means of calculating a necessary amount of electric power; and mode selection processing means of selecting modes of heat storage and electric power generation on the basis of the generable amount of electric power and the necessary amount of electric power.
