<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having a tractor unit of a simple configuration capable of preventing feed holes in continuous paper from disengaging engagement pins during conveyance. <P>SOLUTION: The tractor unit 4 of the printer 1 includes: a pair of tractors 30, 31 that hold the continuous paper 2 with tractor pins (engagement pins) 20 engaged in sprocket holes (feed holes) 2a; a drive shaft 33 and a support shaft 34 that support the pair of tractors 30, 31; and a frame that supports the drive shaft 33 and support shaft 34. The first tractor 30 is fixed in position to the support shaft 34 after engaging and holding one side of the continuous paper 2, but the support shaft 34 is supported on the frame movably in a width direction D2 of the printer. If the continuous paper 2 becomes skewed, the first tractor 30 moves with the support shaft 34 in the width direction D2 of the printer following the skew, and the sprocket holes 2a therefore do not disengage the tractor pins 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
