<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning robot that has improved dust collection capability and suppresses traveling failure. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning robot includes: a body casing 2 having a suction opening 6 on the bottom surface facing a floor surface F; a pair of driving wheels 29 having a horizontal rotating shaft 29a for allowing the body casing 2 to self-propel; a front wheel 27 disposed on the front side relative to the driving wheels 29 in a traveling direction when cleaning; and a rear wheel 26 disposed on the rear side relative to the driving wheels 29 in the traveling direction when cleaning. The suction opening 6 is provided between the front wheel 27 and the rear wheel 29, and when traveling on a flat floor surface F, the front wheel 27 is separated from the floor surface and the driving wheels 29 and the rear wheel 26 make contact with the floor surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
