Provided is an automated analyzer that is compact, is capable of many types of analysis, and has high processing performance and dispensing accuracy even when mixing an item requiring dilution/pre-processing with an item measured in a general reaction. The automated analyzer has a plurality of specimen-dispensing mechanisms capable of being powered independently, and each of the plurality of specimen-dispensing mechanisms has a specimen-sampling position, a specimen nozzle for sampling the specimen, and a cleaning tank for cleaning the specimen nozzle. The specimen-dispensing mechanisms sample from the multiple specimen-sampling positions, and each operates independently and is capable of dispensing a specimen into a reaction vessel on a reaction disk. At least one specimen-dispensing mechanism is present for each specimen requiring dilution/pre-processing, and each specimen not requiring dilution/pre-processing. The automated analyzer is further provided with a control means for controlling in a manner such that each specimen-dispensing mechanism operates exclusively. Furthermore, dispensing of specimens is performed so as to not leave the reaction vessel vacant. |
