The objective of the present invention is to increase the precision of estimation when estimating the state of charge by integrating the current input/output to/from a secondary battery. A battery control device estimates the state of charge by integrating the current flowing to a secondary battery, and in parallel thereto, separately estimates the state of charge by integrating the current flowing to the secondary battery using as the initial value the state of charge estimated using the terminal voltage. The battery control device performs weighted addition of the estimation results thereof, thereby estimating the state of charge following the estimation of the state of charge using the terminal voltage.
