PURPOSE: A water pore clay brick for footway and roadway is provided to prevent flood by reducing the quantity of water which flows into a river through a road surface and to supply moisture to soil by absorbing and discharging rainwater through water pore. CONSTITUTION: A water pore clay brick for footway and roadway is made of clay, red clay, and rice straw. The clay, red clay, and rice straw are mixed and kneaded into the shape of a block and are subsequently dried and roasted. The rice straw is burned out during the process of roasting. The space in which the rice straw existed becomes water pore(1). Rice straw mixing ratio is proportional to the number of the water pore and permeable rate and is inversely proportional to the rigidity of the block. |
