PURPOSE: A motor-driven compressor is provided to reduce a space for a sub bearing in the radial direction by forming the sub bearing through a slide bearing. CONSTITUTION: A motor-driven compressor comprises a compression device(M), an electric motor, a main bearing, a suction pressure area, a discharge pressure area, and an oil passage. The rotation shaft internally comprises a passage(43). The passage comprises an inlet(46) for directly connecting to the oil passage and an outlet which is opened towards a motor chamber(120). The main bearing(35) is exposed to the oil passage. The motor chamber is the suction pressure area. |
