摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal vibration element that has small crystal impedance and is improved in electric characteristic by suppressing vibration parallel with a thickness direction when applied to an alternating voltage to perform bending vibration. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a tuning-fork type bent crystal vibration element including a flat plate type base substantially in a rectangular shape, a pair of vibration arm parts extended from predetermined one side face of the base in the same direction and united with the base, an electrode for excitation formed on a surface of the vibration arm part, an electrode for connection formed on a surface of the base, and a wiring part electrically connecting the electrodes for excitation to each other or connecting the electrode for excitation and the electrode for connection to each other. Groove parts each having a rectangular opening part is provided on both main surfaces of the base, a side of an opening part of a groove part in parallel with a direction in which the vibration arm part extends is longer than a side of an opening part of a groove part in parallel with a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the vibration groove part extends when the opening part of the groove part is viewed, and the opening part of the groove part provided on one of the main surfaces of the base is provided at a position opposite to the opening part of the groove part provided on the other main surface of the base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
