<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module in which temperature management identifying a battery pack reaching an abnormal temperature is performed reliably in comparison with the prior arts and a safety mechanism can be operated excellently by finding a disconnection abnormality. <P>SOLUTION: A heat sensitive body which is laid over two or more unit cells or battery packs is structured by separating two lead wires which are energized to approach each other and extend in the same direction while interposing a thermo-fusible member between the lead wires. The two lead wires are connected in distal ends and at least one of the two lead wires has a predetermined resistance value at predetermined intervals. If a unit cell or a battery pack reaches an abnormal temperature, the lead wires are brought into proximate contact with each other with the fusion of the thermo-fusible member, and the heat sensitive body detects the proximate contact as short-circuiting of the lead wires. Thus, a disconnection abnormality can be found and the unit cell or the battery pack reaching the abnormal temperature can be identified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
