<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent attenuation of a reception signal, by providing an external antenna and controlling switching so that the reception signal does not pass through a distributor or a splitter, depending on necessity. <P>SOLUTION: A UHF tuner 107 detects and demodulates a UHF band signal from a reception signal, to measure the reception level of the UHF band signal. A VHF tuner 108 detects and demodulates a VHF band signal from a reception signal, to measure the reception level of the VHF band signal. Based on at least one of the reception level detected in the UHF tuner 107 and the reception level detected in the VHF tuner 108, a controller 109 controls to switch between a path to input the signal, received in an internal antenna 101 or an external antenna 102, into the UHF tuner 107 and the VHF antenna 108 through a distributor 105, and a path to input the signal into one of the UHF tuner 107 and the VHF tuner 108, without passing through the distributor 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
