The invention relates to a moulded part (10) having a surface on the visible side and a rear-side surface (S1, S2), said moulded part (10) comprising: - a carrier (20) made of hot-pressed fibre mould material (21); - a coating (30) of at least one polymeric material (34, 35); wherein the surface (33) of the coating (30) has at least in some sections an arithmetic average roughness value Ra in the range of 10 to 80 mum. The invention also relates to a method for producing said moulded part.
