The crash sensor (1) has a hose provided with a cavity and elastically deformable during crash. A pressure sensor (P0) detects a pressure change in the hose cavity. A temperature sensor (T0) is arranged in a housing of the pressure sensor such that the crash sensor outputs a signal of the temperature sensor in addition to a signal of the pressure sensor. The pressure sensor comprises a memory unit in which a temperature correcting function (T-Corr1) or a corresponding identifier is stored. The correcting function or identifier is read by an evaluation unit (2) outside of the crash sensor. The temperature sensor is realized as a temperature-dependant resistor on a silicon substrate of a signal unit in the pressure sensor.
