<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film that can develop predetermined optical properties and significantly improve a contrast in a frontal direction and changes in a hue in a viewing angle direction when the film is incorporated in a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film comprises cellulose acylate having a total substitution degree of 2.0 to 2.5, a polymerization condensation ester including at least one kind of aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residue and an aliphatic diol residue (however, the polymerization condensation ester contains neither aromatic dicarboxylic acid residue nor aromatic diol residue), and at least one kind of nitrogen-containing aromatic compound. The film is an oriented film satisfying (1):40 nm≤Re(550)≤80 nm, (2):100 nm≤Rth(550)≤300 nm and (3):0 nm≤ΔRe(λ)≤30 nm, and having a film thickness of 45 to 70 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
