<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for using engine waste heat, in which waste heat can be distributed arbitrarily to an expander and an ejector. <P>SOLUTION: A device for using engine waste heat, which includes a Rankine cycle (31) containing a coolant pump (32) that is driven by motive force generated by an expander (37), includes: a refrigeration cycle (51) that shares a condenser (38), and that includes an evaporator (55) that guides and evaporates the coolant from the condenser (38); an ejector (92) that uses the coolant at the exit of a heat exchanger as driver gas to draw in the coolant from the exit of the evaporator (55) and return the coolant to the condenser (38); and a flow rate distribution ratio control mechanism (98) that can control the distribution ratio of the coolant flow rate supplied from the exit of the heat exchanger to the ejector (92) and the coolant flow rate supplied from the exit of the heat exchanger to the expander (37). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
