<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method, with which an alkoxy thiophene derivative, exhibiting a high conductivity in a doped state and useful as a monomer for a thiophene-based polymer having a high air stability, can be efficiently synthesized, without going through a unstable intermediate. <P>SOLUTION: The alkoxy thiophene derivative is obtained in good yield by a cross coupling reaction of a metal compound or a boron compound of an alkoxy thiophene compound with a halogenated compound of a (hetero)arylene compound having a group composed of a monocyclic, condensed polycyclic or condensed ring thiophene derivative and the like in the presence of a transition metal catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
