<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for satisfactorily conveying various types of media without causing skew. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a first conveyance means configured to convey the first medium along a conveyance path; and a second conveyance means provided in the first conveyance area of the conveyance path where the first medium is conveyed by the first conveyance means, configured to convey the second medium which is thicker than the first medium.
