<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing device which can automatically set the length of a printed tape wound around a member to be wound before heated. <P>SOLUTION: The tape printing device includes: an outer diameter obtaining means for obtaining an outer diameter of the member to be wound which is wound by heating the printed tape; a thermal contraction ratio obtaining means for obtaining a first thermal contraction ratio of an outer tape of the printed tape and a second thermal contraction ratio of an inner tape of the printed tape which is larger than the first thermal contraction ratio; a tape length calculation means for calculating the tape length of the printed tape before printed based on the outer diameter of the member to be wound which has been obtained via the outer diameter obtaining means, and the first thermal contraction ratio and the second thermal contraction ratio which are obtained via the thermal contraction ratio obtaining means; and a conveyance control means for conveying the printed tape to a position to be cut by a cutting means and subsequently control the tape conveyance means to be stopped so that the printed tape becomes the tape length calculated by the tape length calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
