<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a lock mechanism in which the lock mechanism can be suppressed from being damaged and manufacturing costs are reduced, and which is small-sized and capable of suppressing unexpected unlocking. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 30 coupled to an opposite-side connector 10 comprises a lock mechanism 34 provided in a housing 33. The lock mechanism 34 includes a lock body 76 which is supported by a first supporting part 75 extending outside of the housing 33, an engage piece 77 which can be engaged to and disengaged from an engage part 22 provided in the opposite-side connector 10 in association with oscillation of the lock body 76, and an operating part 78. An operating part body 81 of the operating part 78 is a portion which is pressed with a finger or the like, and is supported by a second supporting part 82.
