<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical apparatus which hardly generates a global step in the periphery of a pixel region and can obtain high display quality, and to provide a method for manufacturing the electro-optical apparatus, and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device as an electro-optical apparatus includes: pixel electrodes 15 on an element substrate 10 as a substrate; a storage capacitor 16 arranged between the pixel electrodes 15 and the element substrate 10 so as to be overlapped with the pixel electrodes 15 in a plan view; a third interlayer insulating film 14 which is formed between the pixel electrodes 15 and the storage capacitor 16 and is subjected to a flattening process; and a dummy pattern Dp1 which is arranged in a peripheral region Ec of a pixel region E including the plurality of the pixel electrodes 15 and is formed on the same wiring layer as that of the storage capacitor 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
