<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which: in an image processing apparatus using electrophotography, a fixing temperature of a fixing device has to be set to a temperature high enough to endure the maximum toner mounting amount; however, increasing and decreasing the fixing temperature precisely for every page can result in loss of power consumption and a reduction in speed of image output. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing method includes the steps of: determining a fixing temperature corresponding to every page from attribute information of every page included in a multiple-page print job; changing the fixing temperature of a second page determined by determination means using fixing temperatures of a first page, second page, and third page included in the determined print job; and controlling image data corresponding to the second page to require a toner amount not more than a limit value of the toner amount that can be fixed at the changed fixing temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
