PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for an image display device, exhibiting high durability.

SOLUTION: The present invention provides a unit for an image display device, where an optical film laminate and a panel for an image display device are laminated with an adhesive layer therebetween. The optical film laminate contains a polarizer and a polarizer protection functional layer laminated on only one surface of the polarizer. The adhesive layer is laminated on the surface opposite the surface being in contact with the polarizer protection functional layer of the polarizer. The panel for an image display device is laminated on the surface opposite the surface being into contact with the polarizer of the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer has a glass transition temperature between 50°C and 90°C inclusive.
