<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and simple slide opening/closing device with a semi-automatic function, having a small number of components and being narrow in width, and a small portable apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The slide opening/closing device includes a base member to be mounted on a first member side, a slide member to be mounted on a second member side and engaged with the base member so as to be slidable in the straight direction with respect to the base member, and an elastic means which is turnably displaced according to the slide position of the slide member provided between the slide member and the base member. A first guide groove for guiding a guide piece mounted on the slide member is formed on the base member side. A second guide groove mounted on the base member to guide a move pin of the elastic means is formed on the slide member side.
