<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of causing an external device connected with Plug and Play to collect information on occurrence of an abnormality by causing the external device to collect logs when a log where an error has occurred without causing any of various inconveniences in an actual condition and a control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor comprises: storage means; setting means; communication means; and control means. The storage means accumulates information showing an operation history of the processor. The setting means sets information showing occurrence of an abnormality when the abnormality has occurred in an operation state. The communication means automatically establishes a communication with an external device in a state in which the external device is connected. The control means outputs information showing the operation history accumulated in the storage means to the external device when the setting means has set information showing occurrence of an abnormality in a state in which the communication means has established a communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
