<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase difference film which can be manufactured by the melt film formation method, is hardly thermally degraded in melt film formation, and hardly causes color loss and color shift even in an environment under severe temperature and humidity conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The phase difference film includes polycarbonate having a dihydroxy compound-derived structural unit and an aromatic dihydroxy compound-derived structural unit expressed by formula 1 (wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or an unsubstituted 1-20C alkyl group, a substituted or an unsubstituted 6-20C cycloalkyl group, or a substituted or an unsubstituted 6-20C aryl group; the same or a different group is arranged in four respective substituents on each benzene ring; X is a substituted or a non substituted 2-10C alkylene group, a substituted or an unsubstituted 6-20C cycloalkylene group, or a substituted or an unsubstituted 6-20C arylene group; and m and n are each independently an integer of 1 to 5), and has a mole ratio of the structural unit expressed by the formula of 60 mol% or more and 82 mol% or less based on the entire dihydroxy compound-derived structure units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
