PARTITION PLATE DEVICE, AND LIGHT-SHIELDING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition plate device having a lighting function capable of making a light guide plate function as a light-transmitting member like a window plate and making the light guide plate function as a light-shielding member while the light guide plate is used as a surface light source having a pattern.

SOLUTION: The partition plate device includes: a light guide plate one primary surface and the another primary surface of which are formed with recessed pattern marks formed by pressing matrix-like processing dots arranged on an ultrasonic processing hone onto the primary surfaces of the light guide plate and partially welding them by means of ultrasonic vibration; and a light source unit for generating diffused light with the recessed pattern marks by making light enter from a side face of the light guide plate. The light guide plate functions as a light-transmitting member when light is not incident from the light source unit, and functions as a light-shielding member constituted of the plane light source having designated patterns formed by the recessed pattern marks when light is incident from the light source unit.
