<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the display load of a background image, and to perform proper notice display according to the display situation of the background image, in a game machine displaying the background image. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine includes: a display position specification means specifying a display position inside the background image of an image for a notice according to a clocking time of a reproduction time timer based on the determination to display the image for the notice in background image display control processing; and a display state specification means specifying a character of the image for the notice.
