<p>A vertical axis wind mill with popping door pans is an improved type of vertical axis wind mill. This device comprising of vertical axis [1] with popping door pans [2] laterally attached to the vertical axis [1] at equal distances. The pans [2] have popping door/s open able one side only. The doors of opposite pans [2] opens in the opposite directions. While the wind strikes the pans [2], one pan with closed door [3] register the thrusting force of the wind, the opposite pan with doors opened in the opposite direction do not resist the wind, in result, the pans with the vertical axis [1] get rotated. The force of the vertical axis [1] is transferred to the generator by means of gears or belt pulley [7] By using this device maximum quantum of thrusting force of the striking wind can be registered than the conventional types of vertical axis wind mills.</p> |
