PURPOSE: A ball-joint for a suspension system and an engagement method for the same are provided to firmly fix a ball-stud and an arm by preventing a nut from loosening and firmly joining the ball-stud to the hollow part of an arm. CONSTITUTION: A ball-joint for a suspension system comprises a ball-stud(10). The ball-stud is formed with a spherical ball part. A ball-joint comprises a housing(12), a first flange part(14), and a second flange part(16). The housing is internally mounted with a ball-stud. The housing is coaxially inserted into the hollow(32) of an arm(30) installed in a vehicle body. The first flange part prevents the housing from separating from the hollow part through the insertion direction. The first flange part hangs on a first end which is opposed to the hollow part. The second flange part prevents the housing from separating from the hollow part through the opposite direction of the insertion direction. The second flange part hangs on a second end which is opposed to the hollow part. |
